That really sucks about your back. I don't just trust doctors. They have to earn it from me. Which trigger an old memory. My last GP was an Indian dood. I trusted this guy completely. He said something that got me from day one. He told me that I had to think about quiting smoking (my only real vice). He actually said, you are ok now, but in the next few years you must seriously consider it if you want to live long time. My point is that he tailored his effort to me, and didn't just read off the cue cards. Having long term damage, like you do with scar tissue, can make you much more angry had the doctors been good enough to manage and minimize it. It changes your life. Simple things you used to do and not even think about now become major problems. Like, how do I get that 50 pound bag of dog chuck out of the trunk? Hmmm, buy 25 pounds bags next time. I am pretty pissed about it, as it was totally not my fault. Stupid person in a car rammed us. We were at a dead stop. TOTALED the car. I mean gone, straight to the junkyard for parts. Lucky to have walked away without a single broken bone. I would have preferred a few broken bones, as those heal and you adjust. The back thing just sucks. I did gain one thing from it. I didn't do it for myself, but now I understand why some people sue. I am still against it for the most part, but a fair level of compensation for someone's error seems acceptable to me. I wish you the best of luck with it. I am not giving up because golf is one of my favorite things. HAGO TH
