Hi RG, RE: the tax issue; I was referring to the difference in tax rates for LT vs ST cap gains. I lived with the higher rate for long enough. So now with a choice, I'll take the LT rate any day.

Re: the Williams indicator; it was an observation that the 80/20 divisions seem to correlate well with AIM's own trading activity.

Since whenever AIM is selling, someone is buying and visa versa we can assume that it's momentum and technical traders that might be on opposite side of our trades. I've been observing many of the regular technical tools in an attempt to see just where the market activity is relative to AIM's contrary trading practices. It is looking as though our Equity Warehouses provide a valuable service for the Technical Traders. Valuable for us as we profit from our LIFO round trips and accommodating to the traders as they look for shares in a rising market and for liquidity in a falling market.

I'm not suggesting that AIMers replace AIM with some form of tea leaf reading, only that knowing something about the mentality of the traders helps AIMers focus on the reality of the situation. It seems to me it's good to know one's allies well. It's also good to know one's enemies well. In this case I think we can learn more about who the market is for our inventory and just who's supplying us when AIM is acting as our purchasing agent.

Best regards, Tom
