Flap I would agree with you on the Hammer pardon. Especially since the POS was a fng commie bastard. However the Weinberger pardon was similar to the Rostenkowski pardon which was a political pardon.
By the way Rostenkowski was interviewed on Fox this week and as a big Democrat leader it was very interesting to hear his take on the Reagan tax cuts. He said the Reagan tax cuts brought in plenty of revenue but the pork spending was enormous. He was for the tax cuts but he said to pass them you had to basically buy the support of various members through pork projects.

Your ability to match each new revelation of Clinton corruption with examples of ancient Republican corruption, reinforces what I already know: Washington D.C is a bottomless pit of corruption.

In light of this fact, isn't it self destructive to reward this corruption with ever more power? What defect in your brain function makes the self evident fact of human nature that power corrupts, incomprehensible to you when the founders (and I) understood it so clearly?
