Because, either NTAP will become a chimp, or EMC will become an IBM. And I don't want to own chimps or IBMs.

There is a good reason to hold both, but it's not because the market is big enough for 2 gorillas. Rather, the reason to hold both is because I'm not sure who will become the gorilla. So, even if I do buy both, I'll watch them continuously, and, as soon as I've decided which is the Gorilla, sell the other. But I'd rather figure that out now, if that's possible.
