"there's no system that can protect you completely from spam" I certainly could design a better system than what I see at MYREALBOX, but let me point you in a direction that a "non-programmer" might understand. You have noticed that when you use a search engine it "assumes" things about your inquiry. Then the next step is that it wants you to at least know what AND and OR do. The more advanced search engines actively try to form patterns or associations based upon LIKE or NEAR. Just think of a good piece of anti-spamming software as doing all of these things in reverse with at least the intellectual effort of an anti-virus program. You are not telling me that Novell's engineers aren't THAT good!
