Unlike Intel, AMD has not delivered a faulty product in many years.

Right, they decided to keep their big mouth shut and not blame their supplier for their problems. I have a feeling their supply channel of intel products was much better than Gateway's

So you think it was acceptable for Intel to supply Compaq and Dell in preference to Gateway simply because Gateway complained and bought AMD processors when the higher MHz P3s were in short supply?
