Not mentioned in this discussion is the fact that ORCL went out of its way a few months ago to tell the world they were going to bury SEBL. Larry had all kinds of wonderful plans. Perhaps some of those plans worked their way into his forecast which everyone thought was too bullish. It was around that some top brass jumped ship. Now that it is time to report, Larry has to confess.

If this is the case, I can't see how SEBL should suffer. Media wags are assuming ORCL = SEBL.
IMHO, it is easier to cancel some ORCL middleware than it is to cancel your accounting system with SEBL.

I'm basing that on a current PE that would around 2 times 5 yr % growth rate of 50%. Many stocks should be no more then 1.5 times, I was giving SEBL some premium, but when you have the biggies setting the bar low, one can't expect other stocks to trade in vacuum, so I might be asking for too much.
