My parents never worried about my school grades. They'd remind me that there are plenty of people who need someone to clean the toilets, and that whenever a professional person misses, they can carry on without guilt, knowing that they've just helped keep someone who didn't do well in school gainfully employed. You sure got lucky with the weather. A lot of years we will have buds and then a severe freeze. 3Fs is not good. Could be he has something on his mind that's troubling him. Not picking up his clothes isn't all that bad. You could put a basket in his room where he could put his clothes and then take them to the laundry room when he's going that way. I can't get Sue to quit walking through the house with her barn boots on. Another trick she's picked up is giving sacks and handfuls of tissues to the dogs to tear up.
