<<I once had a girl friend whose parents came from Germany and every morning, her mom, no matter what kind of a day >>

When I lived in Germany, the grandmother (oma) would mop the SIDEWALKS every day. She had to be pushing 80 and wanted us to reserve a garden plot on a grassy field that was being opened to gardening. I signed the papers and she turned all 20'x80' with a shovel in one day. It looked like a Troybuilt went over it. Opa helped with the garden, he peed on the tomatoes. He drank a lot of beer and did his part well.
