Randy - I moved to CA about two years ago. I am constantly amazed that solar panels are not more in use here - there is SO much sun! (Well, not right now - it rains for two months in winter, but all the other time). 10,000 square miles doesn't seem like that much - 100 miles by 100 miles - not much bigger than LA.

How much do panels cost per sq. foot? I think we should revisit nuclear power. Our harbors are home to Navy reactors anyway.
