Ted, I've heard all of the arguments for and against gun control. Personally, I'm for it. But I doubt more laws are going to keep the guns out of the hands of troubled teens, unless we repeal the 2nd Amendment and resort to a complete prohibition on guns. And that will not go over very well in our culture. Tenchusatsu

But what is an example of this country's moral decay that you mention is the unwillingness to deal with the growing number of guns in this country and the growing ease with which kids can get their hands on these weapons. There are more guns then in the recent past, but guns have been widely available in the US for a long time. And thats why there is incredible dislike for the NRA...the power they wield... The power they wield is not all that great, or more accurately they are strong but they have strong forces against them as well. If they were that powerful they would have been able to stop laws that ban guns for cosmetic reasons rather then the guns being any true danger ("assault weapons" ban), or keep guns from being so regulated that they are close to being banned in DC and NYC. but the neo-nazis of this country continue to provide them the funding that allows them to be a huge lobby in DC. Its nice to know that you consider me a neo-nazi. Actually the nazi's supported gun control, but don't let inconvient facts get in the way of a chance to bash your opponents. Tim
