Hogwash. Bush has the only mandate since Reagan. People want an honest leader and that's what he's giving them.

It is you and the other socialists who care most about the tax cut, not Bush. Check the polls. People support Bush and his programs overwhelmingly.

Everything shows that Bush has a mandate, certainly more than Clinton ever had to do anything. People are relieved that disgraced ex-Prez Clinton is out of power.

Proving that Washington is the only circus where the elephants have to come in and clean up after the clowns are finished making a mess.

Neither candidate had a majority of the American electorate behind him.

Without that, there is no clear "mandate" supporting either one.

Yet, Bush was elected under the laws on the books at the time of the election.

Gore, the incumbent, couldn't even pull out a squeeker. What a loser to only have 0.17% more of the American public voting for you than the new challenger to the incumbent administration.
