I agree with you and Hmaly's assertion of American's individualistictendencies wholeheartedly.. the question tho is; Americans have regarded this as a strength.. will some now see that it also has its disadvantages? More important, will anyone do anything about it?

Those damned Americans are just too free to do whatever the hell they want. Not to mention they don't conform, they act like some sort of melting pot of diverse, tolerant ideas and beliefs. When they should be a homogeneous group that thinks and acts the same, like say Japan or Korea.
