Speaking of drive image

A few questions:

When I first installed it I thought I would have my zip drive hooked up to the PC. My lovely wife has taken a fondness for the zip (external) so it remains with the laptop which she uses.

anyway, drive image was set up on my machine to search for a zip drive. When I run DI it searches and does not find a zip and goes on it's merry way. Is this a problem?

Second: I often have to run 3-4 attempts at copying the image. I have yet to get max compress to work but the medium compress option usually works on the 2nd or 3rd try. I am using DI 3.0 which came with "Upgrading and Repairing PC's" by Meuller.

Is it common to make 3-4 attempts before a image is copied successfully?

TIA,
Mag

...i don't need the tool being that the darn machines are six feet apart...

I know the feeling. I get PMs from The Commander when he's in the other room and want's to use the fax line. (Which I view as my dial-up.)

I'm not about to either download or use this program. I was thinking back to my employed days and how much better life would've been if something like this was available. It's similar to walking past the day-care centre, looking at the neat playground stuff in the yard, and wishing I was a kid again.

Cheers, PW.
