QCOM slammed (once again) just as everything seemed to be really looking good.

Am I just paranoid, or is this the 10 zillionth time that this has happened ?

Jon.

<<Samsung made negative comments about wireless handset demand, and indicated that the inventory situation is worse than expected >>

I do not know how you can reconcile that comment with a sharp upward revision in Dec Q royalties and record book-to-bill and chip backlog....unless it somehow does not apply to CDMA.

I can't help but laugh!!

One hour before the close we have a massive drop in Q
based on some report out of an analyst visit of a Samsung
fab. Now, in real time, 3pm ET would be what, hummm...
4am Korean time? Interesting: Samsung leading midnight tours
of their fabs! They're that busy at Samsung, hey?
