Glad to see some here agreeing with me on capital losses. If the IRS gets a share of the gains, they should also take a share of the losses. That $3000 loss limit probably is 20 years old.

During a roaring bull market most people didn't care too much about this absurd loss limit. But in a bear market people will start to pay attention.
