Well, clearly it's a game plan because Cheney is echoing the same words. I would think that they would want to focus on the tax cut and stress in a positive way what it can do for the economy. By being negative and insisting that the economy is trashed, it only adds to the difficulty in recovering. I understand why they are doing it. I just think it's a bad approach. As far as being honest I don't quite agree. He may be telling the truth but he's doing it for dishonest reasons. As OMD pointed out - he's trying to lay the blame on the previous admin and that's not necessary. I've always believed you get more by concentrating on the positive.
