We're in trouble for next winter regardless of this summer. A record shattering build is necessary to stave off shortages by this time next year. Last I checked ng production was still just about flat y2y, despite all the drilling. Not the stuff of records.

Just noticed this morning that our elec. rates are being hiked by 7.5% next month. Power gen. is 95% from coal here.

Another anecdote- The rate cuts seem to be starting to take effect. Houses in the neighborhood that have been on the market since last fall are now selling.
