Do you know if Qualcomm's intellectual property is utilized in the ultra fast wireless broadband access used in wireless local loops
(http://www.siliconinvestor.com/readmsg.aspx?msgid=15460187), which are sometimes referred to as 4G technologies. Also, any speculation about how Qualcomm will fit into a the whatever technology follows 3G. I've read speculation that eventually there will be universal wireless broadband access supported by a global satellite system. I'm wondering if Qualcomm will always occupy a secure wireless technology niche or if their technological relevance might reach an endpoint far in the future.

Best Wishes--

Adrian

Eric L: Well I tried. But unlike the Qualcomm comprehensive, detailed and clear presentations, these seemed to be guarded and vague.

But then, its all a matter of perspective, no?

Perhaps having people who are not deep into the technologies of what they "sell" is not so good either.

Not impressed.

Best.
