I'm protected if my cc is stolen, on the internet or otherwise. Why should I care if a company that charges 19% interest is out a few bucks if my card is stolen on the internet? Why should I forgo the luxury of buying on-line?

BTW, I use my cc to buy gas. How secure is the system that collects my cc# from the pump? Do you think that that system is safe from hacks?
