That might well be short-lived. Remember McMannis' 1st Law: MHz sells. The important thing to remember here is that this only applies to "normal" consumers. So far, the P4 hasn't been available to the vast majority of those due to its high price. This will change towards the end of the year, as Intel migrates to .13mu production.

Meanwhile, on the Dell reject watch, outlet.dell.com currently shows 133 pages of P4 systems on the clearance shelves, out of 353 pages total. It's good to know a few people aren't so dumb, anyway.
