Missed the point
The Prozac hasn't kicked in yet so...

Not arguing the merits or efficiencies of secular vs. faith based organizations, just the efficiencies of using the feds as a income redistribution middleman.

I just don't need Dubya OR Bill to take my money, skim off federal bureaucratic costs and pick either a certified faith based organization OR secular organization to spend it for me. I am perfectly capable of doing that myself, or walking across the street to the local Baptist church, PTA or Planned Parenthood Org, hand it to them and direct or even participate) in its appropriate use.

As a 12 year veteran of Jesuit education and an active member in local secular voluntarism, my experience says that by definition BOTH faith based and secular organizations are agenda driven. Asking them to act otherwise is futile and hypocritical. Oversight of the rightousness of the agenda and the efficiencies of donation usage should be provided at the local level by the contributors, not some appointed federal bureaucrat.
