At some point all the bad news will be out. Then the playing field will be level. Every company will be judged once more on its growth rate going forward without the unreal comparisons they've been burdened with. So once again fund managers will be deciding who will be growing more than the others. JDSU will stand up well under those conditions. While being compared to itself, it had to disappoint at some point.

As for this last warning, keep in mind SDL's management is now part of the equation and they brook no fools and brook no hype. If they err, it'll be on the low side and then if it comes out they'll come in high, we'll get a pre-announcement to let us know. We once got one half way through the quarter. Don's known for keeping an internal number and an external one --- with lots of breathing space between them.

I still don't know when to add, but I'm watching carefully. I do know there'll be some failures among start-ups and I don't know if the market will be disturbed or if it's prepared.
