Heinz, do you have any good ideas on how to get short on commercial RE? I'm forced to drive past dozens of commercial offices being built here in Hillsboro, OR, every day, and it's killing me that I haven't borrowed any of it to sell. Several geniuses decided that, with tech booming, they should build millions of square feet of office space around Intel. Who the hell do they think is going to occupy the buildings now?

These are indeed long-time-constant problems, things set in motion over a year ago when the boom was still on. They can't - or won't - stop midway in construction. The upcoming glut in Portland commercial real estate is going to be astounding. These morons will be lucky to get $0.50 on the dollar for their efforts.
