I love good urban parks. Man at his best, IMO. The best ones are like terraria and are almost maintenance free! Y

You know what architectural feature is fading fast? The public drinking fountain. They are almost non-existent in new public areas now, at least where I live. I was biking home one hot day and thought I'd stop by the civic center for a drink. None. Not at city hall, the police station, or the library. No where. There were benches and paths, but no water. When I finally found one at an old city park miles later, it was so grossly underpressured and disgusting that I passed.
