Hello Barry,

Thanks for the clarification on the next buy/sell algorithm. I'll implement this and see if it gives better results.

Regarding the Money Spinner, off the top of my head, one of the problems I see with the BTB method is having to think in terms of the number of shares (e.g. 1000, 2000, 100, etc.). My feeling is that the number of shares (usually) doesn't matter (that's why there's no minimum number of shares parameter in Automatic Investor). What really matters is the VALUE of the equity investment.

(The only time I can see where the number of shares becomes a significant factor is when you're given a recommendation to sell $500 worth of a security, but the security's price is $1000 a share.)

Nonetheless, the MBI and MSI concept is very interesting and I'll take a closer look at it.

"I am of course assuming that you have no objections to a concurrent libation."

Not at all, I would rather enjoy being able to speak with you in person. By that time I will probably have a few more "ideas" to toss around with you.

My wife and I are planning to be at AIM 2001. We're trying to decide whether to arrive a few days ahead of time and then leave after AIM 2001 or arrive at the start of AIM 2001 and then leave a few days later.

regards,
Mark.
