Ted,

Much of the semiconductor industry is tied in to Intel microprocessor sales. Each computer goes out with hundreds of electronic components from other manufacturers.

When Intel goes down, they take a lot of other companies with them.

I would like to invite all INTC investors to take an unemotional look at moving some of your investment into AMD. I am an AMD long (Duh) looking to get more investors into AMD. Be wary, but also be rational. Love of a stock will get you nothing. Rational evaluation of stock value before the market will get you money.

AMD will not be taking over INTC any time soon. They do seem to be taking a small amount of market share. That is very little pain to INTC, but a big increase in Rev and EPS for AMD. AMD may earn twice INTC's EPS, while being priced 2/3 INTC's price. AMD WILL enter the laptop market this year and the Server market by next year. Their future chip and flash memory sales look good for the next 3 years.

AMD's PE is 8. INTC's is about 27. AMD is expected to make estimates, INTC will miss by at least 25%.

I do not mean to make anyone mad and I have my asbestos underoos on. Tomorrow AMD will sink with INTC, for a while. From that point I believe AMD will be a very profitable investment, short and long term.

Good luck in your investments
