Albert,

>>In any event I was just wondering if r&d should be cut last instead of 1st

-- R&D spending, excluding in-process R&D, is expected to be
approximately $4.2 billion in 2001, lower than the previous
expectation of $4.3 billion.

That's hardly a cut at all. Also, Bryant said none of the R&D cut would affect new development programs. What do you expect to hear from AMD? Anything before earnings?

Hey, Prince:

You started off talking about "fishy" and when I pointed out you may have a capex understanding defficiency you then changed the subject to whether R and D should be cut first or last.

Hey, if you want to change the subject of the argument so that you can win one, I can well understand......as can every one else who reads your posts.

You don't pull the mask off the ol' Lone Ranger
And you don't mess around with Duke
