kash:

"e: Q1 prediction.

I predict that AMD will miss sales revenue guidance by more than 10%. Sales guidance of 6.8 million processors less 10% equals 6.21 million processors for q1 and revenues below $1 billion)

I predict that AMD will miss earnings guidance by more than 20%. (80% of $0.40 = $0.32)

I predict that AMD will warn for Q1 and also miss Q2 by by a LARGER percentage than they miss Q1 from current analyst estimates. (Q2 revenues below $1 billion and Q2 eps below $0.30)

And I'll be happy to accept any "bet" you wish to make with proceeds donated to our favorite charities.

Now we're talking...Attach some disreet numbers to your statement above, so that we can proceed...I have provided my interpretation of your comments, feel free to let me know of any significant misinterpretations...(I only wish Paul would be so forthright!!!)

Some of the categories have no direct guidance. Instead of saying AMD will miss something by more than x%, can you say:

Revenues will be less than $x
Earnings will be less than $y

I am not going to take any bets, or put you on the spot. I would just compare it with my current earnings / revenue models, just to see where you are more pessimistic than I am and by how much. (if you could break down revenues to flash, CPU and other, that would be helpful).
