flap, if you want to ban guns, simple, pass a constitutional amendment overturning the second amendment. Because, guess what? It's a right in America to own a hand gun. Not a privilege, a right. Of course, Democrats would never propose something as courageous as that. They would much rather end the right, by passing a few hundred more meaningless laws. Clinton tried to pass a lot of laws. Was successful in a few. Only one thing though, he never wanted to uphold a-one of-them. Passing a law, and then not enforcing it, is completely meaningless. It might make you feel better the law exists. (at least we're doing something!). But that's about it. Democrats like to do a lot of meaningless things, such as form blue ribbon task forces that go on forever. Republicans like to measure results, and ask whether something has actually worked.
