This should be on the things that amuse me thread

As noted in prior comments I have tendencies to be an airhead.

not 2 minutes after typing this I was attempting to voice chat via yahoo messenger. The person could barely hear me and I could not hear her. A check of my plug ins revealed I had plugged the speaker jack into the mic jack hole and vise versa... proof positive!

"I left it checked so as to remind me to run win doc and scan disk before running DI"

you'll never see it. one has to click on the 'advanced' button on the last dialog in order to even know the option is there. it's something that i have to remind myself of to go looking for to turn off. it doesn't remind me of anything.

mag, you mentioned that your copy of di came with no manual. have you looked on the cd-rom for that documentation?

my boxed version came with a hard bound manual, but it's all on the cd too.

my cd has four categories.... install, create diskettes, documentation and select language. upon selecting 'documentation', one finds:

DriveImage User Guide
Error Documentation
Basic Concepts

these are adobe acrobat pdf files. the user manual alone is 125 pages long.

let me know if you have these.

:)
