Law Firm Robert C. Susser, P.C. Announces Class Action Lawsuit On Behalf Of Broadcom Corporation Shareholders
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 9, 2001--Notice is hereby given that Robert C. Susser, P.C. commenced a Class Action lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California on behalf of a class (the ``Class'') consisting of all persons who purchased shares of Broadcom Corporation (``Broadcom'') (NASDAQ:BRCM-news) between July 31, 2000 and February 27, 2001, inclusive (the ``Class Period'').

The Complaint charges Broadcom and certain of its officers and directors with violations of federal securities laws. Among other things, plaintiff claims that defendants' material omissions and the dissemination of materially false and misleading statements regarding the nature of Broadcom's revenues and earnings caused Broadcom's stock price to become artificially inflated, inflicting enormous damages on investors.

We are damn close to the second best buying opportunity of a lifetime. The greatest ever buying opportunity was two years ago. This time around, the next bull market that is, it will take longer, but the returns will be almost as spectacular as the last bull market. (1991-3/2000)

Right now the market has written off the US economy, particularly telecom/internet/semiconductor/infrastructure, as stone-cold-dead!

This environment is now a vicious cycle. Funny how within a year we have gone from a new economy to an old economy. Perhaps this is a reflection of the current Bush administration taking over.

In two years, as this whole market episode gets sorted out, I suspect we will look back at BRCM at these price levels and be shocked at how someone could have bought the stock this cheaply.
