That list is as bogus as most bookmarked people. The numbers do not represent the current SI membership.

I used to buy in on that argument until I realized just how much money is at stake in Market Gems fees.

Jenna would have never gotten subscriber #1 if it wasn't for the free exposure on SI. I think Jenna has gained more from SI than SI gains from her now.

And when SI starts shielding Jenna from critics, then are they assuming some liability for the content of the service she advertises here?

I've never heard of anyone disgorging advertising revenue. Historically it's just financial advisors like TokyoJoe that disgorge themselves. I imagine as long as everything's proper then gorging yourself on advertising revenue is fine.
