Don, Lurqer, <Where the heck is accountability in this system>:

I posted to Gersh a week or so ago that I believe very strongly that each trader should follow their own indicators and not trade on the whims or utterances of others. Gershs' response was "the market is driven by rumor" and innuendo.

After pausing and thinking about it, he is correct. Having said that, each of us is our own referee. Each of us has the ability to turn the on/off switch to the off position. I am afraid that action takes more discipline that most of us possess; Therefore the market driver will continue ad nauseam.

After pausing some more, if everyone traded as you and I do, this thing would really get slammed around. Can you imagine a market where everyone used the same trading signals. Whammer!

So, diversity is the referee, and thankfully so. I now appreciate the AJC factor, more importantly I appreciate the folks that report on the correctness of her calls adding accountability to the system.

I can say all this because my trading strategy doesn't care if the market is going up or down, just that there are bumps the road! Yep, I'm a swing trader and I will not do well in a buy and hold market, if we ever have one. gggg

I guess I didn't respond to AJCs call to the bull because I didn't hear her!!! Ignorance is bliss! ggg
