-True Definition- absurd

First let me say that you've all been saved from my
Sat. Morning Keyboard Diarrhea. I'd been working
away at a masterpiece for about an hour this AM. It was
truly brilliant. It answered all questions related to AIM,
Hold Zones, etc.

In that litany I'd used the word absurd relative to
carrying a particular adjustment to an extreme. Have you
ever typed a word and somehow it just doesn't look right?
This was the case with me today.

So I reached for the dictionary, a common habit of mine,
and unfortunately it slipped out of my hand. That's not the
bad news. On its way to the floor, it had just a touch of
Left English on it. That wasn't the bad news either. Upon
impact on the floor, the Left English spin caused the
opposing corner to sweep past the front of the computer. This isn't the bad news yet. Whilst making this sweep, the
corner touched briefly upon the Reset button of the
computer. Now we're getting close to the bad news!

Yes, the computer reset, told me I was a bad boy for not
going through proper shut-down procedure, and blew out an
hour's worth of composition!

So, there's the True Definition of

ABSURD

BTW, I've cooled off and my blood pressure's back down to
just triple digits again!

:-)
Tom
