Excellent notes, Michael. Thank you for posting your thoughts on money management, stops, position sizing, etc. A lot of wisdom for new traders -- and experienced traders.

Michael, From what I've "read thru" so far as his posts and picking up the system of words formed from such combinations and patterns, and the subject of otc:bb stocks, I would have to say it is "Information Management"

As we all know we can hop into the 'database' at out fingertips, on OTC:BB stocks and pick up a history of their legally stated financial positions prepared in a historical format.
<for new investors, the above paragraph was a crock>

Hi Mike,

Well you have asked to much.;-))))))) No way to answer it as the way you asked but what I can do is sum it up.

So let me see............

Am I a long? Most of the time but not all of the time.

Do I short stocks? NO!!!!!!!!! Myself, I think it should be outlawed.

Now that is a tricky question. Do I look for big gains? Yes an no. Depends. I always look for a 50 to 100% gain. I get upset when I don't achive that. Anything above that I consider a bonus. Now of course I'm talking about BBs not Chips. On Chips my expectations are lower.

Risk management. I like that. It works for folks that have millions. You take a hit today to come back another day. I don't have millions so I do what I do based on a real person with a program. DD first an T/As second.

Now what I will give you is an example as to what I am trying to say.

I bought a company at .55. Went to .08. Bought more at .11. Went to 21.85. Scouped. The point here is not that I made money on the move, is that I didn't sell an held based on IM.

The bottom line here is buy on the T/As based on the fundamentals an sell on the same.

As far as stops. I don't do them or use them at this point in time. Maybe in the future. Once again, know the company that you are doing business with.;-)))))))))))))

Oh, by the way IM is; information management.

Later,

Ron
