me too. i prefer paper over e-manual. despite my jokes to the contrary (about never using the blackice manual), i often turn to the hard copy for instruction.

when i do turn to 'electronic alternatives' for info and assistance, it is usually online discussion forums, magazine archives or the good old computer learning thread that i head for.

i think i can safely and accurately say that the computer learning thread has proven to be my best overall resource for solving computer issues.

but getting back to print manuals.... a very astute individual once said, "i love the smell of freshly booted computer in the morning". (cheeky kid, wherever you are, i just credited you once again.) i would append that quote to read... "and freshly cracked software manuals".

:)
