Thread! Please remember as I stated last week, that we are trying to remain civil in this thread. As volatile as this market can be personal attacks can be considered a TOU violation. I again, ask for your continued cooperation in this!

"Now, Motorola and Ericy are similar in market capitalisation to Q! and Nokia then was smaller than Q!"

Maurice-

QCOM Sales-$2.7 Billion / Cap-$39.1 billion
MOT Sales-$37.6 billion / Cap-$34.0 billion
ERICY Sales-$30.9 billion / Cap-$65.6 billion
NOK Sales Sales-$28.3 billion / Cap-$106.9 billion
NT Sales-$30.3 billion / Cap-$54.7 billion
LU Sales-$31.6 billion / Cap-$42.0 billion

So I take it you don't feel QCOM's valuation is quite lofty compared to other mid-large cap equipment companies. Just a quick glance at QCOM's trailing twelve months column and one can see it's just no where near it's peers. Yet, as you point out, market cap is in ball park of those peers.

As I recall (and I could be mistaken) you seem to think highly of QCOM's future value. In that respect what year do you estimate QCOM's ttm to be in the ballpark of the peers you mention? Or is there some other valuation method you are using that shows QCOM may be undervalued today? Thanks. -MikeM(From Florida)
