I contacted RoadRunner about the difficulties with SI and they checked their routing and SI's cable servers are having problems. It's been this way for several days for me and I have emailed SI with tracert and ping info.

Probably not what you want to hear, but I'm using cable (Shaw, Vancouver Island) and have had no problems with SI over the past several days. No noticeable slowdown.

tc, don't know how the speed is on your end, but if I do subject searches they are coming back pretty fast right now.

As far as loading my bookmarks pages, forget it. I have to make a mental note of about five or 6 of them than just do the subject search to get to 'em.

Oh, and just forget about accessing your outbox. Guess this is part of the cutting back thing insp is going through. I think I'd rather have speed than SI Jeff- no offense Jeff, I'd just like to be able to load messages faster than I can read them.

TC

I have DSL and I have had no difficulty with SI the past few days.

A while back I had some general latency issues and my ISP SWB stated that after x number of hops(3 I believe) out they no longer have responsibility for latency.

What I am gathering from your post is that Roadrunner is assuming responsibility all the way to SI.

If that is so then that information would be helpful the next time a problem with SWB arises.
