Fair enough. In the businesses AMD and Intel are in, sometimes things work out the way you hope they will, and sometimes (K6-3, Rambus) they don't.

K6-3 nearly killed AMD, where Rambus is just a horrible pain for Intel. But the Rambus debacle seems to be the gift that keeps on giving - for AMD.
