I think the 10 commandment crowd are far too exclusionary themselves to understand the problem. When you believe in a God that consigns people to Hell for not believing in Him, you don't have the right frame of mind (imo) to really get fired up about exclusion. I, on the other hand, am very fired up about exclusion. Here are some of the things I give stars out for (and if you get 25 stars you get a small toy- if you get 100 I will give you a beanie baby) Helping another child in distress (giving comforting words, stepping in and playing with someone being excluded, walking an injured child to the office), taking an issue to a yard supervisor that you were not involved in (and you can't be friends with one of the parties), helping or playing with a younger child, teaching someone else, reading to someone else- these are just a few- I have a list that I give out- you'd be AMAZED at how attentive the kids are to my list).
