I just pay my $13 a week in union dues, look for the rooster on the ballot on election day and punch the straight ticket, and let smarter people than me do my thinking for me.
Yup, sure sounds like like a union man.

Good thing us overpaid elitist techies don't work that way or you wouldn't have that internet and computer you need to read this.

I'm sure John Sweeney will do what's best for the American working man and American working woman. He has some smart people working for him. I don't worry too much about these types of things. I just pay my $13 a week in union dues

It boggles my mind that anyone living in a country that values freedom and individuality would voluntarily give up the opportunity to shape his own workplace in favor of a bunch of bureaucrats--and pay $13 a week for the privilege. I don't think that union members generally realize how much they're giving up. Members of bargaining units should not be obligated to pay to have someone else speak for them, even assuming that that person could speak for them as well as they could for themselves.
