I too took the plunge this afternoon.

I'm doing my initial charge now and waiting anxiously to hot synch as you have done. Will be interested to see if all my Palm apps behave as they did before. I've been using the Palm Vx and Omnisky wireless modem for the last year and was looking to consolidate. I posted my initial observations at the Omnisky board : groups.yahoo.com

No where near as detailed as your review but I will be putting this baby through its paces to determine whether I keep or return.

Thanks again for your observations and I'll post more of mine after I have had some time to play.

I really enjoy my KY6035. It is my first Palm Pilot type.

I do not know how to turn the backlighting initially. It works like a charm for me now.

Overall, it is a great phone + PDA.
