"Brinker's call was based on Oct 12 closing low of 75 1/8, not the 80's. It took about 30 seconds to figure that was the basis for the CTR call."

I didnt save the bulletin, but as I remember, it said something like "Buy QQQ at the earliest opportunity." I was among the first to receive the bulletin. The market opened the next day at $83 and a fraction. That was the earliest opportunity. What could be clearer?

Brinker's call was based on Oct 12 closing low of 75 1/8, not the 80's. It took about 30 seconds to figure that was the basis for the CTR call. I don't see your argument that it wasn't clear because people aren't able to read a newspaper or find Q's on a computer to check the closing prices. People that can't, shouldn't be trading Q's.

Perhaps you are right and those people shouldn't be trading Q's. You then should consider that Bob, because he didn't put in real numbers, shouldn't be giving advice in trading Q's. It would have taken him a few minutes to give numbers. Why should subscribers have to hunt and peck for them wasting all that time?

No one faults Bob for being wrong like every other human being.

Oh really????

I haven't seen anyone say Bob should be criticized unduly for a wrong call. Everyone makes those and of course he can't be right all the time. It's all his actions around that call that I object to.

He didn't say he was wrong about the CTR, just the timing. I don't see how that's different from what he's been saying for 5 months.

As I understand it, those in from about 70+ won't (in his opinion) be out without a loss. That's not much guidance.
