Cummings: If the Democrats are such fuzzy thinkers, then why have a number of GOP senators -- and even Trench Lott himself -- signed on to the Democratic idea of a trigger for future tax cuts? If the Banana Republicans are such "solid thinkers," then how could they have overlooked the component of fiscal responsibility in the tax plan? Or was their motive all along just to put more money back into the hands of the ultra-rich -- themselves included -- as fast as possible? (Remember, the Prez-Select personally will profit around a quarter of a million dollars from this big tax cut, while you and I will get enough to go to a baseball game and possibly order a jumbo red hot.
