Ggamer, The Euro troops marched across the desert and were met head on with our Toll Gate. Stopping them in their tracks, they could not go around it, they could not go over it, they could not burrow under it. "Tear it down", someone yelled from the back. And wild eyed patent lawyers on horses attached ropes to the top and base of our holy Toll Gate, and teams of strong men 10 wide and 300 deep pulled and pulled on the ropes with all their might. The toll gate didn't budge. "Burn it with fire!", yelled another. And Euro generals commanded the royal archers to come forth to the front of the Euro army. "We shall launch flame into the Toll Gate!", he yelled. And the royal archers lit their arrows with fire and launched their arrows directly into the holy Toll Gate, onto the Toll Gate, and at the base of the Toll Gate. Yet, inexplicably, the holy Toll Gate didn't catch fire, and the Euro army met only with weariness and disappointment. The holy Toll Gate peacefully looked down on the Euro army, it's golden edges glistening in the sunlight. Then a young Norwegian teenage boy said, from the back..."Let us pay and go through the toll gate!" The crowd gasped! A long silence ensued. Soon, the young boy realized he made a big mistake. Every eye was on him. An angry mob assembled around him. Fear was in the air. "Traitor!", someone yelled. "We will NEVER pay to go through the toll gate, NEVER!" And the boy was punished with death for his trangression. Soon thereafter, an ominous sound from far away was heard. A cloud of dust began to appear on the horizon. The sound began growing louder and louder... Then, a rider on a horse appeared over the horizon. Then another. And another. The sound grew louder. The earth began to shake. Dust darkened the sky. The sun turned blood red... Soon, a whole army appeared, then another behind them, then another... Coming closer...and closer... "It's the ASIANS!" a young swede yelled. "The asians are coming, the asians are coming!" Panic engluffed the Euro troops... The Euro generals had no way out. Either pay and go through the holy Toll Gate, or await unmerciful slaughter at the hands of the Asian armies. "What shall we do?" yelled one Euro general. What shall we do? ____________________________________________________ ....and so it was on March 12th, 2001. What happens next to our Holy Toll Gate? We'll see. Verve
