<< Not favoring gay marriage is not necessarily a manifestation of hatred. >>

What do you call it? Two people, who are born different from you are I, who love each other, want to share their lives together, AND get all of the legal benefits afforded to others. You would deny this to them, right? What would you call this message to them, one of acceptance? One of friendship? One of democracy? Or is it an act against them to isolate them, to demean them, to deny them, or to hate them for what they are?

<< It sends the wrong signal to say that homosexuality is perfectly acceptable ... >>

What is the right signal to someone who is gay? Are they to consider their homosexuality unacceptable? What do they do about it, commit suicide?
