If the nasdaq keeps crashing do You really think, "Lets give W four more years is gonna be the battle cry" Bush needs positive market in 2002 for congressional elections. So he is in a rush to reverse this as well. I think the dow is going to crack 10k soon. I believe they both went thru these milestones together on the upside and now again on the downside. It would be nice if nasdaq would bottom first. Folks who are in old economy are in for a rude awakening. They didnt learn from us nasdaq folks at all and were as recently as last week smugly walking around bragging about being about even over the last 12 months. As Dylan wrote in Like a Rolling Stone "now they dont talk so loud, now they dont act so proud, having to go scrounging their next meal".
