the Great Internet Depression may have begun
under AG's inept watch
he has grossly misjudged the role of IPO and Venture Capital
that role is to produce competition, reduce prices, foster growth
he has grossly misjudged the speed at which inventories can be adjusted
the speed at which mfg lines can be shut down
the speed at which people can be laid off

the Sept Business Week cover article made some excellent points about the upcoming recession
it will come thru misjudgment and slow reaction to much faster deterioration that thought possible

the money to be made is still on the short side
after the next rally
but the rally may last 6 days or 6 weeks, dunno

it has come to my attention in reminder that Japan's repatriation is due to end March31st
this might actually buffet the Nikkei and other worldwide bourses
if they fail to produce some rally in Nikkei, hundreds of Japanese banks will be forced into bankruptcy
this event has been successful in recent years, each March
I have my doubts this year will be successful
they must have Nikkei close at or above 14,000 in about three weeks
by law, all foreign held JYen by Japanese citizens and corporations must come home by March31st
since putting that money into bonds makes zero sense (bonds pay under 1% yield)
they annually put the money into their pathetic stock market
their stock market resembles a whore's large incestuous family
good luck

Biggs and Wien have a terrible and disgraceful record in the last few years
but you knew that
