David, I don't see anything too optimistic about adding 10 million subscribers a year in a country whose population is more than 200 times that amount. It's still just scratching the surface. The Chinese economy is really booming and will continue to expand as long as (1) consumers in the U.S. still keep buying Chinese manufactured products, and (2) Japan continues to buy Chinese products and invest in China.

There are some worries that the slowing economy in the U.S. and the outright failure of the Japanese recovery will have such an impact on China that everything will slow down. There is also a possibility that China will take a very sour view of U.S. products and investment if the Administration pursues its ill considered anti-missile program, together with all the implications regarding the defense of Taiwan.

My only worry is that because of the political component of all these issues, there is still some uncertainty over the near term prospects in China.
